SESSION FOUR | BELONGING: BETTER TOGETHER

Let’s be real for a moment—following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey.

But a lot of people try to live their faith that way. Just me and God… no people, no vulnerability, no accountability. And on the surface, that feels easier… safer even. But isolation doesn’t strengthen your faith—it slowly weakens it. Because you weren’t created just to believe… you were created to belong.

This Scripture reminds us that we don’t just need truth proclaimed—we need people in our lives who will push us, pray for us, and walk with us. Because at the end of the day… you grow better together. - Pastor Seth

Scripture

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24–25

Devotional

Faith grows in community. Isolation feels safe, but it slowly weakens your soul. We were never designed to walk with God alone. Church is not an event you attend. It’s a family you belong to.

When you isolate, your doubts grow louder. When you connect, your faith grows stronger. Being known is risky. But it’s also healing.

The right community:

  • Encourages your faith

  • Challenges your comfort

  • Covers you in prayer

Better Together is not just a slogan — it’s a spiritual reality. You don’t just need sermons. You need people.

Personal Reflection
