MESSAGE NOTES

1: BE THE PASTOR OF YOUR HOME

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. - Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Pastor doesn't mean having all the answers. It means POINTING YOUR FAMILY TO JESUS.

If you don't DISCIPLE your family, the world will.

2: BE THE PROTECTOR OF YOUR HOME

And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.” - Nehemiah 4:14

The real battle isn’t in the streets — it’s in your HOME

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. - Ephesians 6:11

You can’t protect what you don’t PRAY over.

3: BE THE PROVIDER OF YOUR HOME

But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. - 1 Timothy 5:8

Provision isn’t just financial — it’s EMOTIONAL, SPIRITUAL, and DIRECTIONAL.

You’re not just called to bring the bread — you’re called to bring the BLESSING

4: BE THE PURSUER OF YOUR HOME

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. - Ephesians 5:25

Godly men PURSUE. Passive men wait.

A passive man leaves his home EMOTIONALLY bankrupt.

THE BATTLE for your family will not be won accidentally.

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called… - 1 Timothy 6:12
