MESSAGE NOTES

/// VISION SUNDAY | CLARITY. COMMITMENT. CAPACITY.

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. - Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)

Vision is not optional—it’s ESSENTIAL. Without it, we drift, we die, we lose focus.

VISION: We exist to lead people to become fully engaged followers of Christ.

1: Vision Brings CLARITY

Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. - Habakkuk 2:2

Without vision, people wander aimlessly. With vision, people run PURPOSEFULLY.

The clearer the vision, the STRONGER the direction.

A church without vision is like a car without headlights—you WON’T MAKE IT FAR in the dark.

2: Vision Demands COMMITMENT
No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God. - Luke 9:62

You can’t build the future God wants with HALF-HEARTED effort. Half-hearted people will never see whole-hearted vision FULFILLED.

Our mission to lead people into full engagement with Jesus requires full engagement from us FIRST.

Vision without commitment is just a DAYDREAM.

3: Vision Creates CAPACITY

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. - Acts 1:8

When we align with His vision, He EXPANDS our capacity - our influence, our reach, and our faith.

Vision STRETCHES us beyond what we thought was possible and gives us space to grow into what God has called us to.

God-sized vision creates GOD-GIVEN capacity.

Vision enlarges your FAITH so you can enlarge your REACH

When we walk in God’s vision with Clarity, Commitment, and Capacity, we won’t just reach Monticello - we’ll transform the WORLD.

Takeaway:
The VISION won’t reach Sullivan County without your YES.
